DR BRUCE MCCABE, THE GLOBAL FUTURIST
Dr Bruce McCabe, The Global Futurist, is the only international futurist and speaker who travels the world visiting labs and interviewing scientists to learn about what’s coming, what’s possible and what’s probable, then presents keynotes on the future of healthcare, artificial intelligence, energy, work, cities, transport, agriculture and YOU!
Bruce’s mission is to make the world a better place by connecting each and every audience to opportunities and pathways THEY can take to a better future. He travels to all countries and works across all industry sectors.
Bruce has explored emerging technologies and how innovation happens for 30 years. He began his career at IBM in 1988 and went on to hold senior roles at IBM, WordPerfect, Novell and Gartner. In 2002 he founded S2 Intelligence, a think tank to support organizational innovation through grounded research into new and emerging technologies. He served as an independent adviser to a long list of multinationals, governments, universities and innovation labs. He holds a PhD in organizational and technological innovation. When he’s not speaking at events, Bruce podcasts and writes about the near future.

30 YEARS OF FUTURISM RESEARCH
Bruce has contributed to innovation, futurism and emerging technologies research for more than 30 years, having authored or co-authored more than 300 essays, columns and research papers and delivered more than 500 presentations on five continents. He created technology trends programs for multinationals IDC, Dataquest and Gartner and founded KPMG’s innovation advisory practice. He holds a PhD in organizational and technological innovation from the University of Technology Sydney, and often connects university researchers with industry partners.
